The Frankie Shop Opens First Middle East Pop-Up in Abu Dhabi
The Frankie Shop, the Paris-born label known for its effortless tailoring and quietly confident aesthetic, has officially arrived in the Middle East. The brand debuts with a two-week immersive pop-up running from April 18 to May 1, 2025, at the Region Concept Space in Abu Dhabi’s Mina Zayed Port (MiZa), in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO).
Since launching in New York’s Lower East Side in 2014, founder Gaëlle Drevet has cultivated a global following of women drawn to clothes that feel both strong and understated. This same sensibility anchors The Frankie Shop’s exclusive Abu Dhabi collection—designed specifically for the region, but with all the familiar codes: oversized silhouettes, minimal cuts, and a refined neutral palette inspired by the local landscape.
The collection is built on smart layering pieces and fluid tailoring, from cropped trench coats and sharp-shouldered blazers to modest shirt dresses and linen Bermuda sets. Materials like lightweight silks, textured cottons and soft organza lend spring-ready movement to the designs, while tones of olive, ivory, and sun-washed brown echo Abu Dhabi’s natural light and desert tones. Pieces are designed to be mixed, styled, and lived in—just as Drevet always intended: for real women with real lives.
The pop-up goes beyond fashion, incorporating elements of art, culture and lifestyle. Guests can explore a café concept by Collagen 48, custom Frankie Shop x Cheb Moha carpets, and illustrations by Tulip Hazbar, along with a curated edit of Karen Wazen sunglasses presented in bespoke pouches. Founder Gaëlle Drevet and stylist Bettina Looney will host personal styling sessions, while regional creatives bring their perspectives on modern minimalism to the space.
The pop-up is open daily from 10:00 to 22:00 until May 1, 2025.
