Disney+ Hosts Summer Pop-Up in Dubai
Disney+ is kicking off the summer with a beachside experience in Dubai, open to the public for one weekend only. On April 19 and 20, from 4:00 to 9:00pm, Kite Beach will host a limited-time Disney+ pop-up, offering fans the chance to engage with some of their favourite series and movies in a new, interactive way.
The centrepiece of the experience is the Disney+ Smoothie Station, serving exclusive drinks themed around popular titles on the platform. From The Kardashians and The Simpsons to Mufasa and Daredevil: Born Again, the smoothie menu combines fun presentation with curated flavour profiles inspired by the characters and worlds behind each show.
Each drink is crafted with both aesthetics and taste in mind: Daredevil comes with red berry and beet chia pudding; Grey’s Anatomy features a bright blue spirulina blend with a syringe of berry coulis; The Kardashians is served as a glittery charcoal lemonade topped with coconut sorbet; Mufasa combines avocado and banana with tropical toppings; and The Simpsons offers a mango base topped with a pink donut and rainbow sprinkles.
Beyond the smoothies, the pop-up includes a Character Corner designed to help visitors tap into their “main character energy” with themed quizzes, curated giveaways, and summer watchlist recommendations based on viewing preferences. Photo stations bring iconic moments to life, letting fans recreate standout lines from some of Disney+’s most-watched titles.
The event marks a final beachside moment before Dubai’s summer heat sets in. With nostalgic sitcoms, drama-filled reality shows, and upcoming movie releases all on the table, the pop-up is a nod to the indoor streaming season ahead.
The Disney+ pop-up is free to attend and open to everyone at Kite Beach on April 19 and 20 from 4pm to 9pm.
