Hi I am Jesse Thomas! I am a queer singer/songwriter/artist from Covington, Kentucky. I have spent the last four years writing for other people.

My mom never let my siblings and I say we were bored. Few things bothered her more than that.

I’ve always felt the urge to create. To translate the stories and feelings that fill up inside me – like a tap flooding from a glass, art was just the excess of things I didn’t know where else to put. (Or maybe more accurately, the only way I knew how to put it).

Always hyping you up at Sole DXB, adidas Originals presents ‘The Godfather of Grime’ Wiley who will hype up the crowd with his performances including an intimate set at the adidas Originals space before hitting the main Sole DXB stage on the 6th December.

For as long as I can remember I’ve always been the quiet kid with paint all over their hands, the hopeless daydreamer who used to spend most of their time inventing magical worlds and strange creatures. Some things never change.

I love seeing how artists are venturing out and taking risks. Billie Eilish, Rico Nasty, Tierra Whack, Yungblud, Solange, Blood Orange, Omar Apollo, and so many more are becoming so multidimensional and setting a standard other artists should follow.

The main inspiration for the song came from visiting friends in another town and realizing that the strong bonds we had when we were in each other’s lives fade over time.

Youth In Bed follows three interconnecting stories of love, youth and pain spanning from 1979 to 2002 that remarkably all take place in the same bed.
