Serapian Milano Unveils its SS25 Collection

Serapian unveils its Spring/Summer 2025 collection, celebrating the sun and its reflections. This season, the Maison combines its renowned metiers d’arts with ancient Venetian glass traditions, evoking water and light through unique chromatic compositions. Fluid silhouettes, radiant surfaces, and a blend of Serapian classics with fresh hues honour craftsmanship while offering a contemporary twist.

Debuting at Milan Fashion Week in Villa Mozart, Serapian’s headquarters, the collection is brought to life through a collaboration with Venetian artist Lorenzo Vitturi. His immersive installation, "Merging Islands," was first showcased in Tokyo and now transports visitors into his Venetian world.

The journey begins with wooden islands featuring sculptural totems symbolising the Venetian Lagoon, showcasing Vitturi’s artisanal glass techniques. The second room immerses guests in the Murano atelier, displaying 1950s and 60s glass-blowing methods alongside special edition pieces that merge Serapian leather with glasswork, including the Mini Secret and Mini Ani bags in Mosaico.

The final display features an artwork combining glass and wool, created with a women’s community from Rajasthan, expanding Vitturi’s material palette. This presentation celebrates Serapian’s Metiers D’Arts, offering a fluid expression of its artisanal heritage.

The collection centres on the iconic Mosaico motif, now in bold colours like Lipstick red and Cornflower blue alongside classic shades such as Sahara and Tan. Metallic accents in pink gold and silver add dimension, with black and white geometric patterns returning throughout. Shaded Sahara, blending white and Sahara, is a standout feature.

Highlights include the Secret Bag in medium and small sizes and the new Mosaico Shoulder Bag. The season's essence is captured in a special series of the Secret Bag, featuring handwoven raffia and Mosaico crochet in yellow and sandy tones. The Maxi Secret and Mini Secret bags, with unique constructions, embody the vibrant energy of summer.

Serapian’s latest collection is available online and at their boutique in Abu Dhabi’s Marina Mall.
