PUMA’s Speedcat Relaunch Lands in Dubai and Riyadh
PUMA is reigniting the excitement around the Speedcat with a bold relaunch featuring two exclusive activations in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Bringing together fashion, culture, and community, the brand is set to take over key locations in Dubai, Jeddah, and Riyadh, creating a unique experience for sneaker enthusiasts and trendsetters alike.
Originally crafted for F1 drivers in 1999, the Speedcat swiftly transitioned from a motorsport essential to a streetwear staple in the early 2000s. Now, with a global resurgence in demand, PUMA is giving the silhouette a fresh cultural spin through city-specific experiences. Working in collaboration with Cockadoodle Studio, the brand has curated activations that highlight Dubai’s dynamic dining scene and Riyadh’s thriving art landscape.
In Dubai, PUMA partners with the iconic Lulu & The Beanstalk to introduce the Speedcat Menu, a four-day culinary takeover that blends gastronomy with sneaker culture. Running from February 5 to 8, the activation offers a limited-edition menu with specially designed packaging. Those ordering a Speedcat combo meal will receive a scratch card for a chance to win a free pair of Speedcats, distributed on a first-come, first-served basis each evening from 6-11 PM.
Meanwhile, in Saudi Arabia, PUMA joins forces with contemporary artist Rex Chouk to craft an exclusive collectible: the Chouka Speedcat vinyl figure. Known for his vibrant depictions of Saudi culture, Chouk’s design features his signature character outfitted in Speedcat shoes and PUMA apparel. Available in limited quantities from February 6 to 24, the collectible will be accessible at Red Sea Mall in Jeddah, Solitaire Mall in Riyadh, and Nakheel Dammam, providing a must-have for both sneakerheads and art aficionados.
The Speedcat is now available at PUMA stores, online, and at select retailers.
