Abu Dhabi Comedy Season Returns with Global Stars

Building on the success of last year’s inaugural event the 2025 edition of Abu Dhabi Comedy Season is set to light up the Etihad Arena from April to July. Organised by Live Nation Middle East and GME Events, in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Miral, this year’s comedy season promises an even more diverse range of performances.

The first confirmed comedians for the event include a mix of global stars and comedy icons, each bringing their renowned comedic styles to the UAE. Trevor Noah, who previously impressed audiences in February 2024 with his sold-out ‘Off The Record’ tour, will return on April 26. On May 2, Kevin Hart, the celebrated comedian and Hollywood star, will perform at the Etihad Arena.

Gad Elmaleh, the Moroccan-Canadian comedian, will hit the stage on May 30. Michael McIntyre, known for his global tours and television success, on May 10 and Gabriel ‘Fluffy’ Iglesias, celebrated for his widespread online following and engaging stand-up, will appear on May 3.

The comedy season will also welcome Emmy and Grammy-nominated Bill Burr on July 12. Recognised as one of the most versatile comedians of his generation, Burr’s appearance is set to be a major highlight of the season.

Last year’s Abu Dhabi Comedy Season set a high bar, drawing over 40,000 attendees and featuring unforgettable performances, including a record-breaking sold-out show by Dave Chappelle and standout acts including Bassem Youssef, Maz Jobrani, Andrew Schulz, Tom Segura, Aziz Ansari, and Chris Tucker.
