Dubai's Desert to Host “Landscapes of the Soul”
Dubai’s iconic desert will become the canvas for a groundbreaking cultural experience this January. On January 18, Kosmos Nexus presents Landscapes of the Soul, a transformative artistic event that blends the spiritual with the contemporary. Hosted at the serene Al Qudra Yoga Centre, this immersive gathering features the renowned Âpé Chimba Collective in their Middle Eastern debut.
Set against the golden dunes of Dubai, Landscapes of the Soul promises an unforgettable journey through ancestral traditions, modern artistry, and collective celebration. The event will see music, ecstatic dance, and ritual converge in a soul-stirring experience designed to transcend the ordinary. The Âpé Chimba Collective, known for their powerful fusion of ancient rhythms and contemporary soundscapes, will guide attendees through a night of deep connection and reflection.
The experience begins at 4 PM with a calming meditation and somatic flow session, led by master teachers from Ibiza, followed by a ceremonial sunset opening that invites attendees to attune their senses to the desert’s mystical beauty. As night falls, the atmosphere will shift into something truly magical. The Âpé Chimba Collective will perform their ritual theater and present a three-hour musical odyssey, creating an immersive sound experience that is as transformative as it is enchanting. The evening will close with a performance from local artists, celebrating community and culture around a sacred fire.
Landscapes of the Soul is a cultural and spiritual exchange—a platform for both local and international talent to come together and create a space for wellness, harmony, and connection. The thoughtfully curated marketplace, featuring facilitators from Keyani Wellness, introduces the debut of Turkish wearable art by Zhenabia and Nature Hedonist. Attendees will also find ceremonial cacao, handcrafted elixirs, and gourmet offerings from some of Dubai’s finest local vendors, including Holy Smokes, We Are Life Within, Salata, SEVA Table, and Cymbiotika Middle East.
