Yassmin Saleh unveils the “ANTIPODE” Collection

Lebanese ready-to-wear designer Yassmin Saleh unveils "ANTIPODE," the Spring/Summer 2025 collection, exploring dualities—chaos and calm, destruction and rebirth, individuality and unity—culminating in harmony.

Luxurious textures like sequined tulle, jacquards, and organza are paired with taffeta, silks, linens, and crepe, balancing light, airy elements with structured forms. Each meticulously crafted piece embodies the artistry of Yassmin Saleh’s Beirut atelier, with rich blacks and silvers symbolizing depth and reflection, while serene blues and soft neutrals evoke renewal.

SS25 introduces dramatic silhouettes, layering fluid drapery with structured tailoring. Evening gowns, jackets, tops, and bottoms blend luxurious fabrics and textures. Couture highlights include the ‘Shadow’ gown with organic bubble effects and the ‘Shift’ one-shoulder gown with a beaded strap. Versatile staples like the ‘Opposition’ blazer with stone buttons and hand-drawn embroidered pieces transition from day to evening.

A standout is the shirred effect debuting in the ‘Divide’ top and ‘Submerge’ pants, enhancing the signature Tattoo Series. The ‘Balance’ strapless tattoo dress and tattoo crop and skirt feature intricate prints telling ANTIPODE’s story. Hand-drawn motifs on the ‘Solstice’ vest and ‘Sun’ shirt reflect balance, with embroidered mermaids symbolizing land and sea, light and shadow.

Hand-picked Lebanese pebbles form unique buttons, reinforcing Saleh’s craftsmanship. The collection’s statement styling pieces, the ‘Swirl’ brooch and ‘Facets’ pendant, echo seashell spirals, representing movement and stillness, transformation and continuity. Yassmin Saleh’s ready-to-wear embraces storytelling, slow fashion, and impeccable craftsmanship, appealing to those who value meaningful, high-quality design.
