QASIMI RISING will be instrumental in identifying these promising designers, offering them a clear pathway to the 2026 QASIMI RISING Talent Incubator. Selected designers will have the chance to showcase their work and participate in exclusive one-on-one workshops with QASIMI RISING mentors and key press during Lagos Fashion Week, set for October 2024.
A key highlight of this collaboration is the appointment of Omoyemi Akerele, Founder and Executive Director of Lagos Fashion Week, as the regional Ambassador and advisor for QASIMI RISING. Her extensive expertise will be invaluable to emerging designers, providing them with essential insights and guidance on navigating the fashion industry in the region.
