QASIMI Debuts Autumn/Winter 2024 Collection

QASIMI’s Autumn/Winter 2024 collection emerges in collaboration with New York-based visual artist Kambui Olujimi, embracing the concept of “Razzle Dazzle” — a term rooted in military camouflage and the art of illusion. Olujimi contributes his signature watercolor technique to create "Undergrowth," an exclusive pattern that evolves his authentic style into the collection’s aesthetic.

This season draws inspiration from Brutalism, an architectural style beloved by QASIMI’s late founder, known for its use of raw, exaggerated materials. The collection mirrors this influence with wide silhouettes and richly textured fabrics. A palette dominated by City Grey, Lilac Dust, and Silver is balanced by softer shades like Parchment, Sage Ash, and Dusky Green.

Volume and deception take center stage, with oversized proportions and hybrid materials creating an emphasis on disguise and distortion. Classic wardrobe staples are reimagined in unconventional fabrics, resulting in standout pieces like bonded satin trench coats, tech wool cardigans, and waxed cotton bomber jackets. Camouflage finds new expression through upcycled leather patchwork and shimmering sequins, while unexpected patterns reinforce the Razzle Dazzle theme.

The season also marks the introduction of a new accessory collaboration with Paris-based label ASWAD. This partnership, inspired by a shared passion for contemporary art and Arab heritage, offers small leather goods that reflect ASWAD’s nomadic ethos and commitment to functional design.
