Genesis Unveils Redesigned GV60
Genesis has unveiled the redesigned GV60 in the Middle East and Africa region, marking the first update to the electric vehicle (EV) since its debut. The new GV60 combines a modern, robust exterior with a high-tech, luxurious interior, drawing inspiration from the brand’s “Athletic Elegance” design philosophy.
The exterior features a striking new bumper with a dynamic, three-dimensional shape that creates a bold impression. The extended front overhang highlights the vehicle's long hood, while the newly designed headlamps with Micro Lens Array (MLA) technology emphasize Genesis’ signature Two Lines design. The vehicle’s side profile is enhanced by sporty 21-inch wheels with a five-spoke design, which complement the sleek, coupe-style silhouette. Additional design elements such as body-colored wheel arch claddings, fender garnishes, and a rear skid plate reinforce the GV60's rugged yet refined SUV look.
Inside, the GV60 retains key elements like the Crystal Sphere—a sphere-shaped shift-by-wire system—while introducing new high-tech features. The interior incorporates the “Beauty of White Space” concept, which creates a serene, spacious environment. A standout addition is the 27-inch Integrated Cockpit infotainment system, which merges the cluster and AVN screens into one seamless display, adding to the vehicle's modern aesthetic and functionality.
Genesis has also integrated advanced connectivity features into the GV60, including Genesis Connected services, which provide a suite of digital applications and remote services for enhanced convenience. The system will enable over-the-air software updates, allowing for continuous performance and feature improvements. Additionally, a digital key will allow users to access their vehicle via their smartphone or smartwatch.
Further details on specifications and pricing will be announced in the first quarter before sales begin in Korea.
