Ferrari Marks 30 Years in the Middle East with 6 Bespoke 296 GTBs
Ferrari celebrated its 30th Middle East anniversary with six exclusive 296 GTBs, each designed to honour the Gulf nations: UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman. These unique cars debuted at the Casa Ferrari event during the Abu Dhabi F1 weekend.
Each car features a distinct exterior inspired by its country’s culture and nature. A new matte shade, “Arabian Golden Sheen,” symbolises sunlight on desert sands and accents the roof, rims, and spoiler, with Arabic calligraphy naming each nation on the engine cover.
UAE: Pearlescent white echoes its pearl-diving heritage.
Saudi Arabia: Vibrant green represents life in the desert.
Kuwait: Metallic brown embodies warmth and elegance.
Qatar: Deep maroon captures strength and pride.
Bahrain: Metallic black with gold flecks evokes starlit nights.
Oman: Metallic blue reflects the beauty of its seas.
The interiors combine Beige Honolulu and Gold Metallic leather with diamond stitching. Gold accents adorn the seats, carpeting, and front luggage compartment. A satin gold H-shaped gearshift gate and gold-thread embroidery highlight the craftsmanship.
Ferrari also unveiled six bespoke Maranello clutches inspired by the cars. Handcrafted at Maranello, these minaudières mirror the 296 GTBs’ designs and are available in matching shades with lacquered finishes and ultra-suede linings.
Giorgio Turri, General Manager of Ferrari Middle East, highlighted the significance of these creations, celebrating the brand’s strong ties with the region and shared pursuit of excellence.
The Casa Ferrari event, held annually during the Abu Dhabi F1 weekend, offered a luxurious setting to celebrate this milestone. Ferrari’s bespoke creations honour its legacy while looking toward a dynamic future in the Middle East.
