Acqua di Parma introduces Crystal Incense, an enchanting new addition to the Signatures of the Sun collection, capturing the ethereal interplay of light and shadow. Inspired by the natural prisms of olibanum crystals, which scatter sunlight into a spectrum of colours across the desert, this fragrance evokes both a luminous brilliance and a profound depth.
A study in duality, Crystal Incense harmonises the crystalline brightness of olibanum with the rich warmth of incense. Extracted from the bark of the Boswellia tree, this resin transforms into olibanum crystals upon exposure to air. Through an advanced supercritical CO2 extraction process, Acqua di Parma preserves its raw, ambery complexity, ensuring a fragrance that is both deeply historical and evocative of ancient perfumery rituals.
The olfactive journey opens with invigorating top notes of grapefruit, black pepper, and ginger, delivering a spicy, awakening embrace. At its heart, cardamom and Olibanum CO2 blend seamlessly with cedarwood from Atlas, adding an earthy, woody dimension. The base lingers with the sensual depth of patchouli, benzoin Siam, and musk, leaving a lasting impression of warmth and sophistication.

The packaging, designed in collaboration with Ellen Huynh and Central Saint Martins, features dynamic golden swirls set against the signature black of the Signatures of the Sun collection.
