KAMEH’s “0.5 Editions” Fuses East and West

KAMEH’s 0.5 Editions present a fusion of East and West, imagining what a forest might look like within a desert landscape. This vision is realized through Shou Sugi Ban, a traditional Japanese wood-burning technique that not only enhances the pieces’ beauty but also ensures their longevity, making them timeless.

The collection also addresses a pressing environmental issue: the devastating loss of forests to wildfires. As of October 2024, approximately 260 million hectares of forest have been lost worldwide as reported by the Global Wildfire Information System. KAMEH’s 0.5 Editions blend artistry, tradition, and innovation, inviting attendees at Editions, Dubai to experience the collection and explore its profound inspiration.

Each piece is unique and made to order, with customization options available. KAMEH, a Dubai-based design label founded in 2022, collaborates with skilled local artisans to handcraft all its creations in the UAE. The brand’s designs center on nature and the human self, with the artist’s identity intentionally concealed to focus attention on the pieces and their story.

In today’s world, where privacy is rare, KAMEH redefines luxury by emphasizing privacy as the ultimate form of freedom. Luxury is no longer just about rare materials—it’s about the independence to create without judgment or societal pressure. As the first objects of design brand from the UAE, KAMEH collaborates with skilled local artisans to preserve the purity of the work, remaining faithful to the brand’s vision, mission, and values.
